Public cloud service mapping

There are many public cloud service providers, and the list has been growing. Here is a list of some of the most popular cloud service providers:

  • Amazon Web Service
  • Rackspace Hostings
  • Microsoft Azure
  • Google Cloud
  • IBM Bluemix

Different service providers offer cloud services with different names, and it’s really confusing to figure out compatible service. I have been asked questions about comparable cloud services. I thought it might be a good idea to compile the list and publish as blog.

Before I list compile the list, I must add a disclaimer. The equivalent services may not be exactly the same. Also, I haven’t listed everything that these providers offer. This is only a list of commonly used services. Please do not hesitate to ping me if you need any further help in comparing the services from these providers.
